my daughter has an Apple Watch SE linked to my iPhone via the family plan. We can’t seem to figure out how to add apps from the App Store to it. She does not have the App Store app on the watch, and when I go into the Watch app on my iPhone and select her watch I can only toggle on and off the options to auto update and auto download apps. Thank you

I'm going to guess that currently there's no way in the watchOS app store to be able to filter watch apps that are standalone from the ones that come with iPhone app dependencies.

I would ask Apple to be sure ofc.

Since the Family Plan watch isn't actually "Paired" to your iPhone, just set up using it - you'd use the App Store on the watch itself. Probably something in the Screen Time settings is suppressing her App Store. See "Get apps from the App Store on your Apple Watch" in this article.

Check here for the settings related to App Store.
