Ever since upgrading to the iPhone 6S Plus I can't get my Santander Card onto my Apple Watch. It's on my phone ok but when I click ADD to get it to install on my watch I get the following error message. I even removed the card from my iPhone and set it up again as a new card but still the same problem. Any ideas how to fix this?

I called my card issuer and they had to do some things on their end to fix it.

I had the same issue with my HSBC Visa debit card whilst my previous iPhone 6 Plus was on iOS 8. The card would provision on my iPhone but not my :apple: watch. As soon as I upgraded to iOS 9 it worked. Unfortunately prior to this even with several conversations with both Apple and HSBC customer service didn't help as both just passed the buck to each other or gave silly advice on how to resolve it which didn't work.

Unfortunately there is no way for us to contact Visa. The provisioning as well as the payments process require a three way authorisation between Apple, your bank and either Visa, MasterCard or American Express.I know this doesn't help you but it is an issue others have had or are having.

How are you guys adding cards to your iwatch anyway? i dont see a camera anywhere on here to take a pic of the card.

I eventually got it fixed by myself. I reset the watch and didn't restore from backup. When it restored it automatically knew I'd a card setup on my iPhone with Apple Pay and asked did I want to add to my watch and it worked. A bit annoying but at least it worked.

Go into the Apple Watch app on your phone and then Wallet then you'll see your card listed that you've setup on your phone. It'll have an ADD button to the right.

You don't add them directly to the watch. With iOS 8 you had to use the Apple watch app on the phone along with the phones camera to take a picture of the card or enter the card details manually in the app. With iOS 9 any cards already added to the phone can be added directly to the watch although you still need to get a verification code to get it authorised on the watch like before.

Glad to see you got it resolved.
