I'm thinking of adding drives to my dual gig g4 (mirrored)

The manual says the rear drive bay will use ata100 and the front drive bay will use ata66.

Can I use any type of drive in those slots (even if they are ata133)? Will it just go at the slower ata speed?

Are the cables for the additional bays included? Do I need to buy them?

You can use any type of IDE drives.
The cables are there, no need to buy them.

I have a Dual 1.25 MDD (FW 800), so I assume it's the same. I put a 60 GB internal 7200 rpm on the ATA-66 bus. Mind you, the ATA cable was so neatly hidden, I had to find it first :D

Yeah, you can use any drive, but try to avoid spending more money on a drive with a faster bus, because (obviously) it'll only go as fast as the slowest bus.
