I have a computer at work with only a few GarageBand loops installed and at home I have well over 4000 loops for just Fx.
How do you download all of the apple loops available for GarageBand?
In preferences, the only option that isn't greyed out is reinstall loop library. The download all available sounds option is greyed out.

it's been a little while, but from what I remember, you just open a finder window and "drag" the loops into the loop library tab and I think that'll index them for you.

Which version? I have both v.6 (still stuck on Magic GB!) and v.10 installed. I'll assume you've got the latest version. Every once in a while my app urps a bit and some of my installed Loops seem to not show up - my fix is (1) to choose the Loops panel then select the pulldown menu and choose the "Reindex All Loops" Command, then choose the relevant command under the GB App Menu's "Sound Library" options, and run the the "Reindex All Loops" Command again.

Every time except once the "Download All Available Sounds" did the trick, only once having to use the "Reinstall Sound Library" Command. I hope this helps, cheers!
