Hi

Mac Lion

I'm trying to make a DVD for my son's 30th, containing photos from ea of the past years. I'm using IDVD and have created menus & sub menus which contain the photos. I also want to add a different song for ea year and had downloaded some tracks from the Inet. But when I tried to burn the DVD I couldn't and there was a message saying:

Track contains unauthorized assets

I'm getting a bit desperate now as his birthday is drawing closer and would appreciate if somebody could let me know why I have this message and how I can overcome the problem.

Many thanks in advance

iDVD, and probably most other dvd authoring apps, is designed to burn finished movies to dvd rather than create and edit which is what you seem to be trying to do.

Why not create your slideshows in iPhoto, a separate one for each year, where you can add music of your choice. Then export from iPhoto to Quicktime and then add those QT movies to iDVD.
