Adding parameters to .vlc extension

Hi!

Due to a problem with a newer version of VLC, i need it so that when i open a .vlc playlist file, it does this with the extra parameter:
--m3u-extvlcopt

Any idea how to configure this?

You should be able to add that parameter to the call to vlc in the association settings... I'm not on the computer at the moment but right click on a vlc file and get info and there should be some "open with" settings somewhere.
That will work for opening from the finder... not sure about opening from vlc itself.

Yes there are, but i can only set the application, and not the extra parameter 🙁.
