I used to be able to add pictures to my contacts by choosing from my images on the desktop. Now it says you can only add them from Photo Booth or iPhoto. WTF?

Is there any way to add from pictures I take, or pictures I find on the internet?

1 drag any jpg to your desktop
2 in contacts drag the photo directly on top of the round circle (no need to use the + sign route)
