So I am manually managing music/podcasts on my iPod. I drag selected podcasts to the Touch in iTunes, it says that it is syncing, and when it is done, my podcast is nowhere to be found. I go to Music on the ipod, check the playlists, artists, songs, albums....I even go to the MORE option and select podcasts, and they aren't there. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: The ONLY place it shows up is in the "RECENTLY ADDED" list on the ipod itself. Why doesn't it show up anywhere else?

How are your podcasts tagged? Is there anything in the "artist" or "Title" fields?

I have the opposite problem, where when podcasters put information in those fields, they show up under the "Artist" and / or "Album" fields. I don't want this (personally), but in here my bug might be your fix.

If there's nothing in those fields on your podcasts, go put info in them and see if you can find them that way.

Yep, all of the necessary fields have information in them.

ok, so I switched the touch back to auto-sync, and the podcasts show up in "Artists" "Songs" and "Albums" now. They still aren't showing up when I manually manage the music though.

And either way, they still aren't showing up in the "Podcasts" area on th Touch....that is still blank.
