Adding second display to iPad Pro?

I recently purchased an iPad pro for school and love it for split screen and taking notes. I used to use a Macbook air with duet allowing my iPad mini 4 to act as a second display. Is there any way to allow an iPad mini to be a second display for the iPad pro? Looking at duet it always has an OS X machine as the primary so I don't think that will work.

Nope, iOS has no second display support beyond AirPlay mirroring.

It would be interesting if one could use another iOS device as the Airplay target (other than the AppleTV of course).
