Adding spaces program into my macbook

I have a MacBook , and would like to add the "spaces" program that I saw on my friend Mac Pro.
Can I download it from the internet ? Or do I have to buy a disk and install it?

what richthomas is alluding to is that it's part of OS 10.5 Leopard.

If you have 10.4 or lower then I doubt spaces can be "added on"

Upgrade to 10.5 🙂

My macbook is 10.4.11
Does that mean I cannot instal SPACES?

No you can't install spaces. You need 10.5
