Question

I have an mp3 recording I want to add some tracks to

Once I import it into GarageBand, how do I set the loops to the key and tempo of the song so that I can work with them?

Let's say the song is in E and I want to add some strings. After I import the song, where do I go to be able to add tracks to fit the tempo and key of the song I have imported?

Thanks for any help.

Bodie

It's not always easy to match tempo EXACTLY to an mp3- because an mp3 is what it is, not a midi loop- but you can click on the tempo setting and drag your tempo slider in the middle of your screen as seen below to get it where you want it after importing the mp3.
