Adding weight to health does not adjust Medical ID weight

This seems like a strange oversight, but when you update your weight in the health app (I have used Workflow and MyFitnessPal) it doesn't update in the medical ID section, despite the current weight being displayed in the 'today' page of the same app.

Does anybody know why this is?
