I did Google searches and there were different methods on doing this but I believe they worked in prior versions of Mac OS.

I have iStatPro and was wondering if it were possible to add it to the desktop.

Thanks in advance.

In order to get widgets on the desktop, you must go in to System Preferences and uncheck "Show Dashboard as a space". Then, enable Dashboard developer mode with
Code:
defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES
and
Code:
killall Dock
Then go to Dashboard, click and hold the widget, then press the Dashboard keyboard button to return to the desktop.

Where is "Show Dashboard as a space"? I see catagories when I click on System Preferences. I'm running Lion by the way. Thanks for the help though bro.

I found it under Mission Control. Thanks bro.
