Address Book Disappeared

How can I retrieve my address book that just suddenly disappeared? It is not on backup. This just happened. I used it this morning closed it, and reopened to no avail. Everything is gone. Please help? You can IM me on Yahoo msg.

Have you looked inside the Trash?

That is the standard location of the address book.
Have you tried opening the file called "AddressBook-v22.abcddb" (or similar) via Text Edit and used CMD+F to search for some content?
