Address Book Disappeared

How can I retrieve my address book that just suddenly disappeared? It is not on backup. This just happened. I used it this morning closed it, and reopened to no avail. Everything is gone. Please help?😱 You can IM me on Yahoo msg.

Have you looked inside the Trash?

That is the standard location of the address book.
Have you tried opening the file called "AddressBook-v22.abcddb" (or similar) via Text Edit and used CMD+F to search for some content?
