Address Book needs an upgrade

Does anyone else believe that the address book needs to be updated. It really seems boring to me and I really dislike using it. It looks like "edit mode" all the time. I wish they would make it look a lot better and maybe leave the current address book as "edit mode".

What are all of your opinions on this?

Most of the time I access it is to add or edit a contact, couldn't agree more to keep the edit mode always on, and make it a preference setting that we can turn on/off as we want.
