Address book to iCal

Hello everyone thanks for taking the time out to read my thread. As you can tell I'm pretty new to mac, I'm migrating over from PC to mac. So I apologize if I asked a rhetorical question.

The problem I'm having, I was able to successfully transfer my contacts from Outlook over to address book. I was wonder if there is away I can have iCal import all my friends birthday into the calendar like how Outlook does it, automatically.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
