Adguard for Mac beta

This is a program that installs for OS X and provides ad blocking for applications and web browsers without needing to install separate extensions.

IMO, its most appealing feature is the ability to block ads from Flash requests in Safari, something no individual browser extension has been able to do. This feature seems to work pretty well, at least on the few sites I've tried.

Remember, this is beta software, so approach with caution. Post any issues in their forum. Their support team is really responsive - they've been very prompt about answering questions when I've asked them about their Windows software and browser extensions.

Yes, I'm talking about ads embedded in Flash videos, such as those you would find on blip.tv and Youtube. It also filters ads when running HTML5.

I use ClickToFlash and AdBlock and I never see ads, even in HTML5 videos on YouTube (or Flash videos when no HTML5 video are available). AdBlock's filter lists = awesome.
