AdGuard worthwhile?

My year subscription is coming to an end on my iMAC.
Is this app worth the cost? Better alternatives out there? Or am I throwing money away?

I pay for adguard pro and use it. Been using it for years mostly on my Windows machines.

I do like 1Blocker on my Apple devices.
