adium buddy list help

i just got a new screen name.

how do i export/import my buddy list with adium?

i havent used aim in so long theres so many contacts that would be lost if i did it that way.

how can i make the transition with adium?

See, thats what I thought. But I'm guessing what the OP means is s/he signed up for a new account and wants to transfer all the contacts to the new account, for which I can not provide an answer.

I did save my contacts and preferences from AOL when I transferred to Mac several years ago. I don't recall. Try our bestest friend Google!

to transfer your buddy list from one screen name to another you need to be on Windows AIM. there's an option called save buddy list or something, it's under file.then log back in with your new sn and load that .bl list file. then you'll have all your contacts back. 🙂
