hi guys, how can i customise my adium to make it:
1. display offline contacts
2. where can i put personal message/let them see what songs i'm listening to
3. nudges
4. msn notifications/sounds
5. tells me how many email messages i have in hotmail. inbozx

Here ya go.

1. View --> Show Offline Contacts

2. Go to status and either set available or idle, whichever you want, and then use a script from Edit --> Insert Script, or if it's msn just go to preferences and under personal put one of the ITunes scripts in your name.

3. not possible, most people find it distracting and annoying.

4. Go to preferences then events

5. Go to preferences, then accounts, then your account, then under options check "check for new mail"

is thre a way to make adium display usernames instead of email addresses?

In the preferences under advanced and in the msn section make sure it's not set to show display names as status messages. If it is then uncheck it and restart Adium, then it will show their custom names instead of the email address.
