Adium - Replace chat words?

Hey all 😀

I find it really annoying whenever people insist on being completely lazy when typing on IM. Is there some kind of script I can set up for Adium that scans incoming messages for "u", "ur", "y", etc etc, and replace them with the proper words (you, your, why, ...)?
Can this be done?

Maybe I'm weird, but I just find it annoying to read sentences with "u" and "ur" in them.

I agree. I wish to see this implemented. I hate seeing people on msn using these stupid picture word substitutes and ugly "smilies" that take forever to load or don't load at all. I wish there was a way to disable them.
