Adjust Caps Lock function with Terminal?

Is there a Terminal hack for the Caps Lock "feature" Apple implemented in all 2007 and beyond MacBooks? I want to adjust it so I just have to tap it like normal.

that's almost certainly a firmware function and unlikely that you can hack it.

I can't even tell you the last time I used my caps lock key...heh

It's like a 1/4 second difference between activating it and not, just hold it a tad longer 😉

I would agree with this, however today typing in lots of postcodes for work, it became annoying when, even though I had tapped the Caps Lock key, it didn't register and I have a lower case postcode on the screen.... A minor annoyance, easily fixable, but postworthy nonetheless ;D
Just one reason why somebody might like a quicker caps lock key.
