Hi I recently broke my macbook screen and now have a 2 inch wide black bar on the right side of the monitor. Has anyone found a way for me to change the size on my monitor to not include this area? That way I can once again see everything on the screen. Thanks so much for the help.

A question that has been asked here before, it’s just not possible your computer will address the pixels that are supposed to be there, you can of course resize windows to fit in that part of the screen individually but even that may not work very well.

At this point you have two choices to continue using the machine get it fixed, or use it with an external screen.
