adjust volume for airpods within apple TV menu

I can't believe i have to ask this but in the newest TV OS where is the slider for adjusting volume level when using my airpods with Apple TV?

yeah, i knew about this method...but I don't use the apple TV remote and it was nice to have it in control center.

Eh? So how are you controlling the Apple TV if not with the remote?

Presumably OP is using another remote? If so, they are not the first to lose volume control in the tvOS update. Experienced this with a friend's setup: all worked fine before the update, then no more volume control with the NOT-AppleTV remote that had historically worked fine with volume.

However, the simple solution is to use AppleTV, Remotes menu to re-learn the alt remote again. Teach AppleTV to recognize volume up and down on the ALT remote and it works again. Something in the update must have reset or forgotten the prior setup? Friends remote works fine again.

I just use either the remote or the volume control on the AirPods themselves.

Just retrain the Harmony remote in AppleTV settings, Remotes, Learn Remote

If you are using a hub based Harmony, you can set it up with as a bluetooth device and it includes volume up/down for bluetooth devices.
