Adjust zoom AFTER photo taken?

Is there a way AFTER a phone is taken using an iPhone 16 pro to zoom OUT after it was taken?

I took a photo and zoomed in when taking it and got it a little too tight. So I was under the impression that all the lenses were actually in use for all photos and that a photo could be adjusted aftwr taking it as if no zoom had been used.

Now I’m realizing that may not be the case.

Can anyone help?

I can't test if this works with zoom right now, but there's apparently a way to switch from a non-4:3 crop to full sensor size in macOS Photos:

You can choose the image aspect ratio when you take a picture on your iPhone, so does that mean you’re stuck with it?
