I've had a iBook g4 12" in the closet for about 2 years now, replaced it awhile back with a macbook.

I'm wondering if theres a possibility to adjust the display so that I can have the full "screen" be in a certain area of the lcd.

For example: my crack is on the right side covering about 50% of that side. I was hoping to 'move' the screen so it displays on the non-cracked pixels on the left hand 50%.

Any ideas? thanks!

It's not really a fix, but you could just plug in an external monitor.
Would make it a little less portable though..

No need for it, I have a macbook and a Desktop Pc.

I'm looking to actually give the laptop to a friend once I get a fix around the busted lcd.
