Adjusting firewall ports in leopard

Hi, i have just scored my new iMac, (yay!) but it has been over three years since I have used a Mac and various things have changed.
One of the difficulties that I am currently facing is I am trying to download WoW from the website and the instructions to configure exceptions under the OSX firewall are dated.
Can anyone help show me how to do this?
