Hi,

I was trying to change my username for login since apple changed it to ''apple'' after service but I guess I did sth wrong during that. I could not change my user name it is still apple my pass is working during login to my comp. but whenever i try to unlock the lock it is now asking my username and pass. although I am inputting my credentials, it is not working now.

I did some search and found out that maybe I can fix this from ''keychain access''? but I could not fix it.

does anyone know how to fix this? or I will format my Mac,

thank you,

I don't believe Apple would change your username, in fact I don't believe you can change a username, at least not easily.

More likely they created a new user called "Apple" for them to use while testing it, leaving your user unaltered.

Are you sure your original user isn't still there?
