Administrator Problem in Lion

When I installed Lion I saw that (even though I am admin) I can only read. Here the picture - http://cl.ly/0A0a3B0A0y0W2O0G3f0t

I re-installed Lion but it still says that I can only read and that has been causing problems for me. This was all fine in snow leopard. How can i fix this?

I tried repairing permissions and it said: User differs on “private/etc/hosts”; should be 0; user is 501.

Are you allowed/given the option to change it to "Read & Write"

yes but before in snow leopard it said that i can read and write.

It I get info as a user, it is fine (like yours) i have custom access. It's just when i get info from the "Macintosh HD" it says i can only read. Here's a bigger pic - http://cl.ly/0A0a3B0A0y0W2O0G3f0t
