I have a copy of Admitmac v4 which we are trying to set-up an prove the concept to a IT Dept who currently has windows based network with DFS files sever and network home folders

We are currently Having troubles after the system has been setup. We are unable login with network home folders. From my understanding admitmac will create the home folders on the server. So far we have we are on our second try of setting it up. The first try went quiet well as the home folders were configured and we could log in, until we added extra configurations, like printers and automount. However when we configured a second user which could not login with network home folders but could see the automounts and the printers.

We then decided to start from fresh.
1. Deleted users and computers from the AD
2. Re-install Ma OSX 10.5.2
3. Install ADmitMAC
4. Run the configuration, authenticated as the adminstrator to join the AD Domain.
5. The AD added the computer
6. Then Created a new user through AD but could not log on with network home folder.
7. Then we used the ADmitMAC utility AD Commander and created a user.
8. we could still not log in so we went back to the AD Commander and checked the home folder and there was no location configured. We tried to set the home folder location \\**.local\dfs\users\%USERNAME%
and still not could log in.

We have verified the the domain and tried to rejoin. We can login with local home folder but just not with network home folder (when we first setup we were able to logon with bot network and local home folder. when logged on with local it would mount the home folder on the desktop)

The 3 main drives we need are
H drive goes to \\**.local\dfs\users\%USERNAME%,
S drive goes to \\**.local\dfs\shared
P drive goes to \\**.local\dfs\public

I have worked with ADmitMac quite a bit but unfortunately not with Leopard/v.4.
You can try giving their tech support a call - I have found them to be very helpful when I encounter a problem.
