Adobe Acrobat doesn't work properly after Migration Assistant

    I migrated everything over from a 15" MacBook Pro 2010 laptop to the 13" Macbook Pro Retina 2015 laptop. Then Adobe Acrobat didn't work properly after the transfer and it said to reinstall, so I deleted it and after I tried to reinstall I get this error:

    How can I fix this problem so I can reinstall the program?

    (Note: This program is not to be confused with the free Adobe Reader, this is the more advanced Adobe Acrobat, version for editing PDFs.)

    Did you check the /Library and ~/Library folders for Acrobat directories and files? There's probably files hanging around in either location that is causing problems.
