Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Bug?

If you run it from Automator, the frontmost application is Automator. 🙂
Save it, set the shortcut and trigger it while you are in Acrobat.

Also, FWIW, I also needed to "quit and reload Acrobat Reader DC. Then, when I tried the shortcut, I at least got an error/warning that the app didn't have permission to do such and such a thing, so in System Preferences, under Security & Privacy, I gave it permission."
