Every now and then my 2010 iMac 27 inch refuses to shut down because the Adobe Acrobat Updater is doing something.

I have tried repeatedly to find and delete that program, or whatever it is, without success.

How can I trash that thing?

Help-uh.

I'm not sure if deleting it will affect installed Adobe apps, but if you want to completely remove it, the most effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:
