Isn't it work placement time soon.... ;) heheheh

:D !

My problem is that I'm a control freak... I can never trust anyone to do the job how I want it done. You've got to suffer for beauty and art... or so I kid myself.

I haven't always been like this. Just bitter experience learned from redoing the work of others, including DTP temps who place RGB jpgs into press layouts...

I hated the merging of Photoshop style raster features into Illustrator or the ability to slice web graphics and such- it seems every app is overlapping more and more with their buddies in the suite and trying to do what eachother already does- and I don't think it's necessary. It just bloats everything up.
I agree.

While it might be fun for the casual user to be able to do vector in a bitmap program and vice versa, it really doesn't help the pro users, who most of the time has both PS and Illustrator. Those features are OK, but I would rather have Adobe focus on real features.
I think a lot of the features for both programs the last couple of years has been gimmick effect features. They might seduce a person starting out, but annoy a long time user.

CS is a nightmare to me: InDesign being a heavy resources eater, Photoshop always have filter not working without any reason, and mostly, ZERO compatibility(nearly) of Illustrator CS to old versions, and the devoluted Text Engine.....
well....lets pray for the next....

You forgot to mention GoLive crashing on a regular basis, to top it all off... (and being MUCH slower than the previous version)

Adobe, get with it!

I have used Image Ready CS and Photoshop CS and have had no problems at all :D

This version is too early. It needs to come after Tiger and support some of Tiger's new features. Perhaps release at the same time as Tiger.

Agreed. Unless the Core Image portion of Tiger is ready and used in CS 2 - I'll wait for the CS 3 next year.

I think that it is a real missed opportunity on the part of Adobe. They should wait and take advantage of Tiger. It would be quite a coupe for them to be among the first to use the advantages of 64 bit.

Yeah, but they are seeing profit in the way Apple regularly updates the Mac OS. And there are enough people out there that will pay the piper to have the latest and greatest, whether they need it or not.
