Does this apply to the Education pricing as well?

Hi everyone,
I've tried wading through the update info, but I'm a little confused as to whether or not it applies to the education pricing as well. Our school has "Adobe Creative Suite 2.3 Premium Student License - Mac". If I buy it do I qualify for the upgrade to CS3? Not that I'm complaining about the price, because I know the edu pricing is fantastic. I'm just trying to decide if I should buy it now or wait till CS3 makes it to our on-campus store. :)

I am a staffer at a university in NC. I did some calling and did what you are wondering. I bought the edu version of CS 2.3 Premium and that very same day called Adobe and got the free commercial upgrade to CS 3 Design Premium for the cost of shipping. The free upgrade is obtained by calling Adobe with your CS 2.3 Premium serial number and registering it with them and paying the shipping charges. I don't have the PDF from Adobe handy but the free upgrade applies to several different packages and is good for a limited time. I was told by Adobe that there is no edu upgrade but you can upgrade your edu software. There is also a FAQ on the Adobe site that clearly states you can use your edu software for commerical purposes even if you don't do the upgrade to CS 3. I got $1200 worth of commercial software for $429 edu pricing. I had been set to buy the CS3 Desing Premium for $599 plus tax so I save a couple of hundred bucks. I also sold off my old versions of Photoshop that I could not upgrade and this helped lower the price further.
