Adobe CS 4/5/5.5 slow scrolling in InDesign & Acrobat

This issue has been going on farrrr too long.

In acrobat scrolling PDFs is painfully slow compared to preview and in indesign, even with image quality set at medium (i.e not high quality rendering) the scrolling is appallingly slow, and always has been on Snow Leopard, Lion and two machines, so it's not machine specific if four different reinstalls and two different machines have the same problem.

Anybody know how to speed things up?

Ironically, I downloaded the Windows trial and it scrollings beautifully, even in VMWare FFS.

Any other pro's out there fixed these annoying issues!? 🙁

This is really, REALLY frustrating. How can a software package be so useless at such a basic thing 🙁
