Does PP have a intermediate codec like apple with AIC/ProRes?

I'm asking as both a mac and pc user.

I just want to offload the CPU loads when rendering.

There does not seem to be an editing codec for Premiere Pro, though I read something about Cineform, which needs to be acquired.
You could also use the DNxHD codec, Avid offers it for free.

There is no intermediate codec for Premiere Pro by Adobe. A lot of our users like Cineform, though. http://www.cineform.com/
