I am hopping mad at the moment...
I am trying to install Adobe Master Collection 5 and 5.5 on my MacBook Air 2011 running Windows 7 64-bit using BootCamp.
The problem is that whenever the Adobe installer reaches the stage when Illustrator is being installed, the installer will crash and give an error code (-1).
Adobe support is unbelievably bad. They were unable to give me any help. Eventually, I got a "free" upgrade to CS 5.5 to try it. Even with the "free" upgrade, the new installer still crashes at the same place with the same error code.
Adobe is now saying that this is a MacBook problem and refuses to offer me a refund (over $1000 for the software alone) or any other assistance. One tech support person whom I spoke to even said that I should just be happy to install the software without Illustrator.
Can someone encountered this before?
