Adobe Indesign

Hello,

I'm having an issue with Adobe Indesign where it is crashing with the following errors: "The network connection was lost for the file InDesign SavedData, or the file was modified by another process"

"Adobe InDesign is shutting down. A serious error was detected. Please restart InDesign to recover work in any unsaved InDesign documents."

Has anyone seen these errors before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I don't think there's a clear conclusion, but there's a discussion here:

If your InDesign file is on a server/disk (i.e. anything that's not your startup disk) then you might want to check you have the right permissions and also that you haven't lost the connection.

Beyond that, I'm not sure. Good luck!

The files are on the local machine so I don't believe this to be a permission issue.

I have already seen that link, but will take another look so thanks for that.

It does appear that a lot of people have this issue so I'm not alone, but can't seem to find a solution that appears to of worked

No unfortunately not, is still an issue.
