i thoguht lightroom 1.0 is 199 at this time (i just checked macconnection's website, even that says it's 199)

is it just a typo? is it the kind of typo i can make them give it to be at 49.95?

yeah, i saw their online ad, it's 199, but it's written in their ad! they can't just write a extraordinarly low price on their ad and not honor it.

I think that's why ads frequently have fine print that says they're not responsible for print errors.
