Hi all,

Many years ago, I started a project in Adobe Pagemaker 7 under Windows. I recently found the files again and would like to finish the project.

I moved to Mac in the meanwhile and don't have access to a Windows machine anymore.

My questions are:
- Is it possible to open Windows datafile for Pagemaker 7 on the Mac version?
- Is the Mac version still available? Unfortunately, the try out link is broken [1]. Alternatively:
- Are there any modern applications that can open Pagemaker 7 files?

Thank you for any thoughts...!

Pagemaker is long dead on all platforms, but Indesign CS6 can open some Pagemaker files. You'll have to search to find a copy of that older version as Pagemaker compatibility no longer exists in later versions of Indesign.

An alternative is to get a PPC-based Mac running MacOS X 10.4 or earlier plus Classic with PageMaker 7.0 installed.
