I use Pixelmator (http://www.pixelmator.com ) its a pretty good photoshop alternative. For web stuff I've moved over to Hype (http://tumult.com/hype/) not really as a direct competitor to dreamweaver but i like it

R robgendreau macrumors 68040 Jul 30, 2012 #7 I can use Pixelmator 2.05 with ML with no obvious problems. 2.1 is reputedly on the way soon. Photoshop is the best photoediting application; perhaps if you let us know what you needed to do we could give you more advice. There are also lots of web design applications out there; what are your needs? Rob

T technowar macrumors 6502 Original poster Jul 31, 2012 #8 I just want to install different photo editor other than Photoshop. Just basics for Web. HTML, HTML5, jQuery, CSS, etc. I think I'm sticking with Coda 2.

maflynn macrumors Broadwell Jul 31, 2012 #9 Pixelmator is probably your best bet and from the above post, it looks like it will work and no doubt the makers of pixelmator are busy getting an update ready.
