Adobe photoshop

When I save and compress a .tif file in photoshop on a pc the size is under 40K but when I save and compress the same file in photoshop on my IMAC the files size is 100K. Anyone know what is happening?

Can you provide more details? What version(s) of PS are you using? IMPORTANT: What compression are you using? What byte order? If you take the same file and save as...tif, there is a dialog box. Screen shot the box on PC and Mac and see if all the settings are exactly the same. Something must me different in that or in your preferences.
