I just have a quick question...
lets say I bought Photoshop CS3 for my PC, then I buy a mac... could I remove photoshop from the PC and somewhere find a download of photoshop for mac, and then use the same code or w\e that I got when I purchased it for the PC??

No

The keys are different Win vs Mac.

And we don't do discussions of downloaded software here on MR, BTW.

Contact Adobe for their policy on crossgrades from one OS to another.

No, but if you have an older version of CS or Photoshop for PC, you can buy the newest Mac version as an upgrade and if you call Adobe, they will sort you out. I know as I have done this.

As for downloads, while I totally agree with and support MR's policy about legitimate versus stolen software, I do want to point out that you can download a trial version of CS3 directly from Adobe, and when and if you buy and validate it, they give you a license that is completely legit. I think that may be what the poster was suggesting (though maybe not).
