My wife is looking to upgrade from Adobe CS2 on a 1.83ghz intel with 1GB of RAM to CS4 which would run native on her computer. CS2 does not run natively and bogs her computer down quite a bit.

Her main concern is speed. Would she notice a boost in program loading speed and overall computer speed if she upgraded to CS4? Or do you guys think that the main problem with her computer being slower while using CS is going to be due to RAM or processor speed?

Any advice that you have would be great!

I have CS 4 Master Collection using on Intel 2.4 Penryn with 4 GB RAM. Works well. My estimate is that RAM would be the critical factor, minimum 2 GB, but 4 is better.
