Adobe Updater

Hi,
I downloaded Photoshop CS3 trial for my Mac and after 30 days I uninstalled it using App Cleaner. I then downloaded PSE and bought it. I use it regularly, however when I launch it it checks for updates and it finds updates for all of the CS3 products. I then agree to download and install them and it says cannot find the program. It closes and repeats when I reopen PSE. Any ideas to stop this? Thanks.

Using the same disk image that you installed the trial, you can use Adobe's uninstaller to clear all reminants of the program

I found it and ran it and it just said I have to install it. So I did and then removed it, but the updater still wants to update CS3 programs that are not there. I think I need to reinstall OSX to fix this.
