iPod touch Advanced notice/info on a new iPod touch

I have noticed during the period leading up to a new device/or update there are sometimes pictures of parts or industry people commenting on events occurring on the manufacturer/production line side of things to indicate a product is coming even if details are minimal.

Not so much about a new iPod touch update. I then thought maybe if its just an internal update or its physically similar to the new phones then okay it could be less on the radar. what do you guys think?

There has been nothing on the Touch 6 other than people saying that they want one.

I would be, too. Even tho I have a 6+ and don't need a touch anymore, it would be great to have. The current one is too small to enjoy games.

The CPU is also too slow to enjoy most games made in the two years since its initial release.
