Well, the computer line will be upgraded in a
more or less logical and boring way. But I suppose
the "gadget" they hype so much would be a more
consumer oriented thing like the iPod was, and would
feature an intelligent design and application, but
not so much a new technology.

so, why not something like a big iPod for the living
room with Airport-autosync, ability to connect
speakers in many ways and possibly with a
TV-connection for quicktime streaming over
wireless ? maybe even wireless speaker
connections.
i guess someone brought that up before but i
must have missed it.
such a device would be relatively simple, would
fit their digital hub strategy and of course also
not too hard to develop and still fit most of the hype-lines, like:
blow you away - with big speakers
big for our standards - bigger than ipod
go where no pc has gone - the living room
and so on...
a relatively small company like apple cannot
crank out revolutionary new technology - they
can only apply existing technology and make
it work simpler or better. they also cannot just
easily develop & produce a new PDA device,
upgrade the PDA OS in no time economically.
