Is there anyway to get all these nice easy benefits of .mac, like the upload support in iWeb to work with your own webserver?

Basically, I've zero need for a .mac email address, or any of the things they offer but I do like the way it's intergrated into so many programs.

So rather than uploading to say .mac, can I edit some .files so it uploads to my website instead?

I own www.flamingeck.com and currently I only really use it for my email and hosting images I post in forums etc...

It would be great if I didn't have to open up FTP to put files etc... I've made in programs like iweb, instead using the menu options to upload.

It's been said a thousand times already and I will chime in - in the hopes Apple will hear us..... not a bad service but why would anyone pay 100 for stuff they can get less or for free elsewhere?

I would love to have a mac email but even at discounted prices it's not worth the cost.

(No disrespect intended to those who do enjoy and feel .mac is worth it)
